Well Components Inspection & Water Testing

The purpose of Well Components Inspection & Water Testing is to identify and disclose major defects and deficiencies existing at the time of the inspection which are evident to the inspector upon ordinary visual observation and report the general condition of the well components to you.

Minor defects may be listed in the inspection report for maintenance purposes, but it is not intended to report, identify and list all minor defects.

Well Components are defined as:

Bladder Tank, Pressure Switch, Pressure Gauge, Electrical Control Box, Faucet (when applicable), Well Housing, Visible plumbing lines and connections, shut-off valves, above ground casings, and caps. (The inspection will be performed by a licensed professional.)

Water Testing:

The inspector will collect water samples from the well and have the sample(s) analyzed by a laboratory for certain biological and chemical contaminants. The laboratory will analyze each well sample for the following: total coliform, nitrates & nitrites, and lead.
